Agustin and Aissa in Miami and Los Angeles
We were so thrilled to finally be able to bring some of our Cuban collaborators to the U.S.! Artists and San Alejandro professors Aissa Santiso and Agustin Hernandez presented their work at our opening on December 1st at Centro Cultural Español in Miami. A few days later, we welcomed them in Los Angeles, where they were able to visit Evelyn Serrano's Arts and Activism class and Carmina Escobar's Voice Workshop class. They were also able to visit some of LA's iconic cultural institutions such as the Getty Center and LACMA.
